    1. Oh Cassie, I’d so love to sell in your barn! And I don’t mind you stealing it at all 😉

  2. So those are the painted wood circles? Really, they look awesome Julia and your paint by numbers are so sweet paired with the dresser!

    1. Thanks Luci!
If someone would have told me that I’d buy paint-by-numbers at a thrift store one day, I’d have called that person completely cArAzAy!

  3. hi Julia – I saw your comment on Cassie’s blog and thought i’d let you know that the link party on my blog is now open. I would love you to come link up. The colour you have chosen on your chest of drawers is gorgeous. so summery.

    1. LOL, thanks! Some things just have to be country, right? No changing that!

  4. I love keyhole dressers! Great redo, Julia. The medallions were a fun idea–so colorful! I do have to say though, that I absolutely LOVE your paint by numbers! (You styled them just perfectly with the stag.)

  5. Great job Julia!!! Looks awesome. I love all your furniture makeovers:)

  6. What a great idea, Julia! I think when I saw your after my jaw actually dropped and I may have said “awwwwww” out loud. It is so perfect and the circle medallions are the perfect touch. Smart thinking…it’s funny because it is more country than what I see as your style, but it total has that Julia touch! love it! 😉

    1. Awwwww LOL thanks! It is totally more country than what I have in my house. I love being able to do different styles though. It’s fun!

  7. I love it! And I look forward to reading your chalk paint adventures. I have tried and tried with homemade chalk paint and just don’t love the texture that it leaves. I thought I was the only one who couldn’t get it looking smooth, but I see now that yours has texture…and I love it. Maybe I just don’t like it on my own stuff….

    1. Yes, it has texture and that’s what I loved so much about this paint!

  8. Thanks Kristin, that’s what I thought…It’s so fun for a kid’s room!

  9. What a great piece and the ART is tops! FUN, FUN, AND MORE FUN!
I can only imagine what you and Cassie could do IF you got together!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. How fun and creative!! I just love it. I’m really into anything with a Spanish/Mexican vibe to it(which I feel this piece does) so its singing to me. I just love it and your vignette to showcase it is equally great!

  11. How awesome are you!! I love it! Love the detail you added around the knobs. Such a creative touch.

  12. I would love this dresser in my house too Julia! 🙂 It’s gorgeous! 🙂 loving the country style too! adding those 3′ wood circles and then adding your little touch of color and design makes it even better! 🙂
Please do post about your experiment with chalk paint! I can’t wait to read about it! 🙂

  13. I love this!!!!! I just got myself an overhead projector and now I think I know what my first project is going to be! An awesome hex on a piece of furniture–or maybe on my shed! You are so clever!

So, so, so fun! Such a little detail can add sooo much! Hope you had a great time with my girl, Cassie! She’s awesomesauce… Bis spater!

    1. Thanks! Yes we had a great time and I agree she is awesome.
      Bis später 😉

  15. I adore the hand painted wooden circles – what a great idea! They add such character to the dresser.

  16. This is a really beautiful color (love the knobs too) is it straight from the can? It looks a bit lighter than what is shown on the website.

    1. Hi Kim, yes it is straight from the CeCe Cladwell paint can, you can make it darker depending on what wax and how much wax you use.
      And thanks for coming over!

  17. I really love the dresser! Care to ship it to me? Haha. Such a good idea with the nobs. I really love them!

  18. Love this!! Totally Pinned it! Thanks for sharing on DIY Showcase party!!

  19. BeeeYOUteeful, Julia! You’re so good at styling too! Hope you’re having a great weekend! xoxo

  20. We’re the glass knobs pricey? Where can I purchase them and wax paint? Thank you, you are a very talented creator=)

    1. The glass knobs came with another old dresser, but I have seen similar acrylic knobs at HomeGoods lately. You can purchase the chalk paint at any CeCe Caldwell retailer and they also sell wax but you can also buy wax at home improvement stores.
