  1. Room looks great…I see you are into symmetry :-).
Are your orchids on the mantle REAL? How long have you had them? Any keeping them alive tips you can pass on?

    1. Haha, you caught me. Only the plant is real but the flower branch is from Joan’s fabric. I stick them into real orchids after they are done blooming to not make them look so boring and to see if I can get them to re-bloom.
And YES, I’m usually really into symmetry!

  2. Loving that rug, hon! And great trick with the orchids! 😉 Hx

  3. I especially love the color and you really did choose well….. it goes beautifully in your living room. And I love your little Leopard…… I don’t remember seeing him before. I think I have missed a lot.

  4. Love the rug! The colors are fab & love how it is modern looking, but a bit worn at the same time. 🙂

  5. it looks awesome! i love the pop of color it brings in- very spring like! unlike the outdoors at the moment. what do you have planned for the fireplace? 🙂

  6. Fun rug! Also, I liked getting to take a peek at your flooring… I love the hardwood that you have. Decisions, decisions!

  7. Your new rug is gorgeous! I love the color. It works so well with your decor.

  8. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!! I absolutely love it my friend! xo

  9. The rug is perfect in that space! I love the color and the design! Unfortunately I can’t say good things about Rugs USA though. I was scouring their website for a rug a few months ago and checking back for sales over a period of a few months but what I found was that they raise and lower their “original prices” depending on how much of a percentage off they’re advertising as a sale. Basically, no matter what the sale, you’ll always pay about the same for a rug whether it’s a 70% off sale or a 30% off sale. Very disheartening. While it’s not illegal to do that, I don’t consider it a good business practice and in a way, being dishonest with your potential customers and for those reasons, I won’t ever buy from them.

  10. I really like how it looks like the design builds as you move from one end of the rug to the other! It’s so pretty! You’ve also given an idea for the gnomes that Chris’ mom (who’s from Germany) and Aunt give us! Honestly they’ve always creeped me out a bit but I really like the idea of painting them white! Hopefully he’ll go for it…at least that will get them out of our basement and displayed somewhere!

  11. Ahhh, now I see it’s different from mine! It looked so similar when I saw it on Instagram, but I do looooove it! That color is delish! 🙂

  12. The rug is gorgeous and that aqua color looks so great in your living room, but I have to say my attention has been entirely caught by that amazing leopard lamp! If you blogged about it before, I must have missed that post… But it sooooo cool and something I would totally buy and have in my house! Well, you know that already 🙂
