Happy Monday everyone! I was thinking over the weekend that I haven’t done a general update for a while now. If you follow me on Instagram then you get to see home updates and little glimpses here and there quite often but I keep forgetting that a lot of you aren’t on Instagram.
So here it goes. Some randomness from around the house:
After the DIY magazine crew left I put down a new rug that I had bought on Overstock (click HERE). It is a faux cow hide rug but looks real from further away. If you have been following me for a while then you might remember that it was on my Christmas list last year.
I got the disco ball and the lip print for Christmas but still had the rug and flatware on my mind.
It was originally only available at ZGallerie (click HERE) but with shipping it ended up being around $325…ah no thank you! Then I noticed a month ago that they were selling the same rug at Overstock for $100 less including free shipping and I jump on it. I’m so glad I did.
Check it out:
Now I’m craving more elegant and neutral curtains for the winter time and might paint some new ones just for Christmas season. Lets see!
I bought some goodies from the new H&M line:
And quite a while back before I switched my living room rug, I bought a fiddle leaf fig tree with basket and fur pillows at Ikea. The tree lives in our bedroom right now and the pillows are keeping us snuggly in the basement family room for now.
Another thing that I never posted about are the new additions to my animal plate wall in the kitchen:
It’s a snow leopard, owl, penguin and ram in black and white and gold. So in love with them. Click HERE to see them.
And to end this post on a very happy note: Our daughter is doing much much better. She can handle certain clothing again and is much happier. Everyone has noticed it around her. She is able to concentrate better, not as angry and sad anymore, her anxiety has gotten better and she even improved her soccer game. I’m looking forward to being able to tell her pediatrician that we didn’t waste our time with the diet change. She is still sugar, gluten, yeast and wheat free and we will continue this diet until we go to a nutritional specialist at the end of January.
Isn’t that awesome though?
Well, that’s it for today!
