I know a post like todays is usually what I save for Fridays but I got thrown off by my beloved Heidi’s death and now I’m stuck in the powder room working on the walls. What have I gotten myself into?!?!? It’s not going as smoothly as I thought it would. I need some patience and hope you have some patience with me 😉
I’m also blown away by all your sweet comments and compassion. It really means the world to me.
The reason I decided to write today’s post is because I get many questions about my curtains. The main question is always where to buy them and when I forward the link to my tutorial (click HERE to see it), I get a rather cynical response of “who has time for that”. I totally get that not everyone has the time to iron on hundreds of heat transfer squares that you also have to cut yourself.
That’s exactly why I thought I’d look up my favorite black and white curtains that would all look nice instead of my curtains. I’d really love each and every one of them in my own home. I hope you agree and it will satisfy some of you who just don’t want to make their own like I did.
Yup number 8 is a photo of my curtains but you can buy the fabric now too and I wrote a blog post about it HERE. I just wanted to include them in the little lineup.
The following curtains didn’t make it in the collage but they are also very pretty.

And of course you can never forget about gingham and stripes although I wanted to get away from that because I had the stripes before for a really long time.

I’ve also been looking for some curtains for our daughter’s room because she wanted to get rid of most of the pink. She loves turquoise and blue. I’m glad that she still loves the bed I made her though. So lets see what we can change without spending too much. She settled on some curtains last night and I hope the color will match because they were only $30 (click HERE). The color will make or brake it. I really hope we don’t have to send them back. She didn’t want to go with black and white haha, according to her it doesn’t match anything but according to me black and white matches everything and every room needs a little dose of it.
