  1. oh i really love that and i see a project in my future! and i had an antiqued silver pottery barn mirror i got from chris about 14 years ago as a gift from chris… too funny!!!!

    1. Haha thanks, yes! Give it a makeover 😉

    1. Yes washi tape is the best invention. I love it and thanks

  2. It turned out so perfectly! Sometimes, I totally hate when I can’t justify something I want because I have a stash of them but in this case I think it it’s better than the original.

    1. I have lots of stashes of things 😉 but then I sometimes just sell the stash and get the thing I wanted. That works too. Oh and thank you

    1. Oh thank you so much Marty

PERFECT!!! The contrast with the gold accent was the best!

  4. You are SO creative Julia! I love this and the whole bar set up!

  5. Wow, stunning. It looks better than the ones in the stores!!!!!

    1. Thanks Kathy. I’m not the biggest fan of the flower shape to begin with.

  6. What an amazing job! I love it.
    xx

Another home run, Julia! I’m going to be helping my daughter find items to furnish her first new house in a couple weeks and I hope I can use some of your genius DIYs to help her out. That pink sideboard is amazing. My favorite thing ever!

    1. Oh thank you June. I hope you can use some of my DIYs. Good luck with her new house.

You are a genius! The projects you come up with are out of this world. Would love to do every single one of them but don’t have the guts. I love reading about your doing them!

    1. Thanks so much Kathleen. I’m sure you do have the guts. Just try it 😉

  12. Truly looks fantastic! I love popping in to see what you’ve been up to and you have given me a lot of great ideas. While I can’t claim that I’ve done anything fantastic, you have inspired me to try! Can’t wait to see what you do next. 😉

    1. Thanks so so much. I’m so thrilled I can inspire and love hearing about it!

  13. Pam @ Simple Details says:

You’re too clever!! That turned out amazing, and looks so good with your fabulous dresser!!

  14. Gorgeous once again! What a great idea I love it!

  15. Whitney Shortt says:

I love how you off set the strips and your art looks great reflecting in it.

    1. They aren’t actually off set, it just looks like that because of the way the mirror is.

  16. Sheryll $ Critters. says:

I love your mirror and want to copy it. I also love the barely pink paint you chose. I cannot completely copy though. I had to pick a medium blue with thin natural color stripes for my sofa slip cover. It is better than my shredded sofa the kitty kat’s ruined lol.

    1. I’m sure that is very pretty too.

  17. Michelle Cattapan says:

Love it! I wonder how it would hold up in a bathroom?

    1. I’m pretty sure it would hold up. I was considering that myself.

  18. Gretchen@BoxyColonial says:

Love the way the black and white looks with the pink! nice job 🙂

  19. Oh my gosh-I love this. At first glance I assumed you had masked it off and painted it. Well now I’m on a quest to make my own. Beautiful project, thank you!

    1. Thanks, I’m glad you like it.

  20. Kimberly Duran says:

Oh it came out fabulous!! I love the idea of using black tape – you are just so damn clever 😉 xxx

  21. I LOVE this! It looks amazing and bold, but not too in your face. Such a great idea.

  22. I have a similar mirror, also from HG that seriously needs zhushing up! I will try this Julia! Thank you so much!

  23. Lisa | Shine Your Light says:

Julia this mirror project came out so great! I love how it looks on the shape of the frame!

    1. Thank you Lisa, it is one of those simple projects that makes me truly happy when I look at it because I love it. And that’s after all how it should be right? It doesn’t always have to be difficult.

  24. Love it! Looks great & it’s easy! Thanks!!
PS No big deal, but, meet up (not, meat up)

    1. Yup that’s true and my grammarly app didn’t catch that. Thanks.
