You being in a well known magazine is well deserved!! Everything you do so is beautiful. I wish I could send you a plane ticket and have you re-do my living room! Haha. If you ever decide to work as a decorator for other people, please let me know. I look forward to Friday’s even more now..

Merry Christmas to you & your family! ????

  3. Just gorgeous-as always!

  4. Wow! This is gorgeous. So beautiful – I love the soft colors you chose.

  5. Beautiful tour! Saying prayers for Lucy that she may be a part of your family a little while longer.

  6. I love hearing the behind-the-scenes details! The rooms all look amazing. Congratulations!

I hope Lilly hangs in there for you. <3

You really are very talented, Julia! Thank you so much for sharing all these beautiful photos. I also want to thank you for being so honest in your blog. It’s really easy for blog readers to begin to think of themselves as inferior because we can’t seem to have the life that we see on the computer screen (or tv, or magazines, etc). It’s somehow comforting to know that our favorite blogger has to contend with the very same things we do (like where to hide the vacuum!) and sorrow over our beloved pets, and living in a smaller house.
I do miss your gorgeous crystal chandelier, though. ???? It was what caught my eye and led me to reading your blog.

  8. beautiful! It sounds like a lot of work, but it’s got to be so cool to see your house in a magazine. And I love the insider details about how they change the saturation in the photos and make things look different than in real life….and here I am spending all my Lightroom time trying to make things look the SAME as real life 🙂

  9. This is amazing, Julia!! They were there in January for the Dec 2017 issue?? I had no idea it was planned a year in advance!
